What training should I complete as a class teacher?

By default, you will be enrolled in:

• Become a Music Teacher

• Find Your Singing Voice

• Become a Music Teacher - Rhythm Names

• Early Years and Foundation Stages (EYFS) Training

• Making Lessons Musical - Musical Gestures

We recommend starting with "Become a Music Teacher" and "Find Your Singing Voice". This will give you a foundational understanding of music and how to deliver the Sing Education curriculum using the Classroom platform and become a confident music teacher.

If you teach KS2, the Become a Music Teacher - Rhythm Names will help you lead activities where children read rhythms using rhythm notation and stick notation and speak rhythms using rhythm names

Early Years and Foundation Stages (EYFS) Training will help you to effectively deliver music to younger students

The course Making Lessons Musical - Musical Gestures will make a difference to your teaching both in and out of music lessons. It gives you ideas for how to incorporate music in your instructions and transitions.
